March 2017 Theme: Black and White in Color

Do you sometimes take color photographs in which the color is so muted that the image looks black and white?  Oklahoma City's National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum has a fine statue of Abraham Lincoln by the sculptor James Earle Fraser.  The large statue sits in front of a monumental American flag.  Lincoln's face is brightly lit and the flag is in shadows.  A tightly focused image "reads" as black and white until you look very hard.

On March 1, 2016, City Daily Photo bloggers will show us a selection of "black and white in color" photographs.  Please visit the Theme Day section of the City Daily Photo portal to include yours.

Please remember in the "Caption or title" box, to fill thus: <name - city - country> Don't fill your post title as it will be visible in your blog header!
