Bob Crowe has published St. Louis Daily Photo since March, 2007, with well over 3,000 posts to date. He isn’t a native (St. Louis University was the college farthest away from home that let him in) and uses the blog to gain a deeper knowledge of his adopted town. He and his wife are also tireless travelers, uploading photos from Buenos Aires to Beijing.
Bob suggested the monthly theme of Highlight and Shadow.
It offers many possibilities: the play of strong light on people, their structures and the earth itself, and also in a metaphorical sense of mood and emotion. Bob invites CDP members to blow out their histograms and share their interpretations with the community.
