JUNE 2014 THEME - Zest.

In Australia, the meat pie came very close to being if indeed it did not, our national dish.  It was consumed with such relish that at one point in our history, there were almost as many meat pies consumed each day as there were people in the country.

All of which brings me to next month's theme, "Zest", synonyms for which, leaving aside the bits of citrus skin for a moment, include:

gusto, relish, zestfulness, appetite, eagerness, keenness, avidity, zeal, fervour, ardour, passion, love, enjoyment, joy, delight and excitement; 

This one will be quite a challenge, so don't forget to check back on the first of the month to see how the community rises to it!
